Michael Rozin served as a Sergeant in a specialized infantry unit for the Israeli Defense Forces. During his deployment Michael participated in operations at West Bank, Syrian and Lebanon borders. After his military service he joined the Israeli Airport Authority where he worked as a Security Agent for Ben-Gurion International Airport in Tel-Aviv under the supervision of the Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet). Throughout his employment with IAA Michael received several outstanding performance awards for capturing suspects affiliated with terrorist organizations.

Michael moved to the United States from Israel in 2005 and since then has been employed by Mall of America as the Special Operations Security Captain to enhance the Counter-Terrorism capabilities of MOA Security Department. In this capacity Michael has developed, implemented and managed a behavior detection unit and a variety of additional innovative security programs focused on mitigating the threat of terrorism. These programs have achieved results with national and international magnitude.

Michael is a regular guest speaker at various law enforcement conferences on counter-terrorism, suicide terrorism, and proactive security methods. He has also trained a number of law enforcement agencies on counter-terrorism and tactical response techniques.

In 2008 the security program Michael created for Mall of America was presented to U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Homeland Security as a model for security in the public sector.

Michael is a graduate of the Institute for Counter-Terrorism in the Interdisciplinary Center in Hertzliya, Israel where he attended a Masters Level Executive Counter-Terrorism Studies program.

Michael is fluent in Russian, Bulgarian, Hebrew and English and his specialty is security that is focused on countering terrorism.

Kathryn’s focus is on business development, strategic partnerships, marketing and communications for Rozin Security Consulting. She has over 10 years of sales, marketing, community relations and operations experience, primarily in media, and holds a Communications degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham.
